Buying Guide for Vacuum Sealers

Check out the bags first.  The machines are fairly inexpensive up front.  The real cost is in reordering bags.  You will want to select a machine that has a close retailer that carries the bags you need.

FoodSaver is a popular brand available at many retailers.  You should expect to pay around $200.00 for a quality machine.  Anything under $70.00 should not be considered.  Look for bags that are textured.  Some low quality residential machines have flat bags.
