Home Made Dehydrator

Have you ever used the Easy Bake Oven toy.  It’s basically a light bulb inside a plastic toy oven.  The light bulb cooks the food.

Homemade dehyrators work the same way.  First create a box.  You can make it out of wood or metal or even cardboards lined with tinfoil (be careful about fires).

Then you simply insert a light bulb with an extension cord on one end and a small fan on the other end.  Many people create this without using the fan at all.

I have heard of people just putting trays in their car and cracking the windows.  Maybe you can put that old junker to use.
